Glazing – A technique where a base coat is applied and then single or multiple top coats of glaze are applied to achieve a softly, muted watercolor effect. Glaze is a transparent paint that is tinted with a secondary color. Glazing can produce a different atmosphere in the room based on the colors used and degree of which it is applied.
