Ralph Lauren Techniques – Ralph Lauren produces a number of paint products and techniques used in faux painting. These are:
Leather – a rich base coat with a top glaze applied in a circular pattern to mimick the rich, distinguished look of leather. Great for dens, libraries, or parlors.  Leather gives the room a feel of sophistication and warmth.
Linen – A soft base coat with a top glaze coat. The linen technique requires running a special brush horizontally and then vertically through the top coat before it dries to create the look of linen. A crisp, clean fresh look.
Metallic’s – Ralph Lauren carries a whole line of shimmery beautiful metallic paints that give a room shine and pizzazz!
Suede – Similar to leather, suede gives the room a very distinguished feel. Suede is a textured paint and needs no glazing.
Denim – A blue or white base coat with a variation of blue glaze top coat. Special tools are used to create vertical and horizontal lines. This is a great look of worn comfy jeans! Great for laundry rooms, boy’s rooms, play rooms or anywhere a casual feel is desired.
